New Working Practices
We are pleased to announce that, starting on Monday 2nd December 2024, Homes for Life will be introducing a 4-day working week. This change is part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the well-being of our employees while continuing to provide quality services to our Tenant’s and the community. The change will support the future investment plans of Homes for Life allowing us to invest savings in planned maintenance and future developments.
Our team will continue to be able to assist customers with our office and contact lines now open Monday to Thursday as follows:
ü Office open Monday to Thursday 9am-5pm (closed for lunch 12:30 to 1.30pm)
ü Calls taken Monday to Thursday 8.30am-5.30pm
ü Home-visits now available between 8.30am and 9am and 5pm to 6pm Monday to Thursday
ü Office closed to the public on Fridays with out of hours emergency service in place
Our repairs service will continue as normal and still be available Monday to Friday with an out of hours service for emergencies.
By adopting this new work structure, we aim to promote a healthier work-life balance, boost productivity, and maintain the level of services. We will be monitoring the impact of the change closely with the Board making a final decision by the 31st of March 2025.
